Yamaha P2201 for 4343 woofers?

Hi all, considering picking up one of these amps for the woofers of my 4343's. Any experince or thoughts on this? thanks.

I used the 2200 for my 4343. Great amp and good for bass as it has a high damping factor. Sounded nearly the same as my BGW750C but without fan noise.

Ah perfect Hjalmar, I also have a BGW750C! I think we've talked about this before. I like my BGW on the bass quite well, the only issue is the transformer hum. I sorted out the fan by changing it with a quiet PC fan.

Well if this Yamaha is quiet I may do it.

I have half a dozen of those (well, 2200 and 2002 series). W/ meters and w/o. They are indeed very quiet as they have no fan at all. They use huge radiators on each side. They don't hum either.

I use 4 of these in my setup (P2200 & P2201 amps). I push them hard, and they have never let me down.
