Update, On my stands, def improvement.
No final judgment. Still smell like GW.

Those would make pretty darn good garage speaks. I personally like the Northridge stuff, seems to be the last of the stuff made before the switch to China. I run the last variant of Northridge; E90's E250P's, matching center and 6" bookshelf stuff for rear surrounds in the basement home theater powered by a Marantz SR7005. The E90's I've got are essentially the same thing you pictured just an updated cabinet & grille and an extra 8" woofer. Pretty decent sounding once you use an EQ to soften up the brightness.
