New JBL Studio Monitors

Just saw the new 4312E from Japan's Harman site. Also noticed that the 4348 has stopped production and what is left are remaining stocks.

Anybody has any idea whether JBL are making new large scale monitors to replace the 4348?

Yes, basically a K2-S9900 in Studio Monitor form (subject to change until actual release date and JBL's first substantial product without the venerable Made in the U.S.A. label).

Wow that is great news. I will wait for it. Still dreaming that they will make a modern version of the 4350 using the latest drivers.

it has taken them a while to make a new reference Fairfield studio monitor

probably will be a 65 anniversary product

or is there a HPAV group 65 anniversary product in the making for higher end market
normally every 5 year the is an commemorative product

will 2011 bring that

maybe an array 1400 with Mg diaphragms and charge coupled XO (not bad)
