Help ID these Drivers...
Hello,
I have an opportunity to pick these drivers and horns up but the seller has no info on
them other than they work...They have JBL Pro 5 stamped on them..but that is it..
I am looking to add a horn to a pair of Altec 420A's that I have...
Any idea on the model and where they are quality wise in the JBL product line?
Thanks

Hi asech
It looks to me like a JBL 2450 with the snout removed which makes it most like a JBL 2451 with a different bolt pattern where the horn attaches. If that is the case, no standard horn will directly mount to it
A side picture of the driver without the horn on it would help. I have never seen the horn before.
2450/2451's are top shelf JBL Pro drivers.
All the best,
Barry.

Thanks Gents....
Harry I haven't finished the deal yet for the two...
My plan was to add them to an Altec 420A, I had an idea to
make an enclosure for them to sit on top of the cabinet.....
How does it sound with that horn since that one is the only option..?
Thanks
