best horn for the JBL 2420 driver 16 Ohms

any tips on the best horn ,wood or metal for the JBL 2420 16 Ohm driver?

My preference for horns on JBL drivers (1" or 2") is for the EdgarHorn "saladbowls". Time after time...(to me) the JBL/EdgarHorn sound is a winning combo.

While JBL drivers may be my favorite...I also like Altecs. Even tho I've heard the Altecs with EdgarHorns (and they do sound good)...I still prefer the Altec drivers with Altec horns.


Whatcha thinking of using?

I like the Edgar Salad bowls too but my favorite is the 2344 for a 1" driver. For now at least. Plan to try a 2307 H94/ 2405 shoot out.
