Woodstock 40th

Yes it was 40 years ago that a show near the village of Woodstock took place.
They were expecting 250,000 people but 500,000 showed up.
The sound system was designed for 300,000.

The cabinets were specially designed by Altec similar to the 211 but for
4 woofers Called The Altec Woodstock Bins and Altec 1003 B 5X2 multicellular horn on top . These were arrayed.The amps were all McIntosh for full dynamic range 12000 watts.The upper part had compression on the woofers for extended throw and a dynamic expander.

I didnt even know about the event until 8 months after the fact...:( , but there are other benefits to being on the best coast or across the world..;)
