includes a cool cover of I've Just Seen A Face with banjo, fiddle and mando.
Not a fan of colored vinyl, but you take what's you can get.

Great Scottish voice. Weak songs. Supply of convenient song material is the main job of a producer. Weak job done by Jack Douglas! What about the cover art?
Hey, you have a Ferrari, run out of fuel.....
Great Scottish voice. Fine songs. So it's a good production job by Chris Thomas. Listen to Miller/Trower song B3 "This love of mine"! Powerful backing by the Memphis Horns.
It's the singer AND the song......
This is the best one of Frankie Miller IMHO. Because here we have the powerful drumming by Simon Kirke (Free, Bad Company). Listen to the dynamics of the drum intro on A1 "I'd lie to you for your love". And thereafter the guitar solo played by Brian Robertson (Thin Lizzy) is still unforgettable. One for the island?
Guitars by Reggie Young. Recorded at Soundstage Studios, Nashville.
Mediocre dynamics.
Guitars: Henry McCullough (->Wings).
Keyboards: Mick Weaver (-> Grease Band, Keef Hartley, Joe Cocker, Taj Mahal).
Memphis Horns: powerful!
Mediocre dynamics on this English pressing.
Produced by Barry Beckett. Recorded at Muscle Shoals.
Chris Spedding/Wayne Perkins/Pete Carr, guitars. Roger Hawkins, drums.
Silly cover art. Weak dynamics.
Superb dynamics. Mishandled cover. But the vinyl is in good condition, because nobody knew the guitar player......
So let's listen to "Fascinating Rhythm" A4.
Sam Cooke - Ain't That Good News

Fine guitar work by Martin Barre. Recorded just round the corner.
Listen to the beautiful "Budapest" B1. Epic song full of music history...
Listen to B1 "Something on the move": "Oh, sunshine- take me away from here. I'm a needle on a spiral in a groove. And the turntable spins as the last waltz begins...."
