Jerry Goodman violin.
Great music history. Recorded at Southern Music Recording Studio, Denmark Street 100, London in 1964-1966. Produced by Terry Kennedy and Mike Vernon. Art Wood vocals (Brother of Ron Wood), Jon Lord (Deep Purple/Whitesnake et al.), Derek Griffiths guitar, Keef Hartley (!!!) drums, Malcolm Pool bass. Jon Lord was a real hand at the organ then. Listen to A8 "Im' looking for a saxophonist doubling French horn wearing size 37 boots" (sic!).

You mean an old friend like this Liberty Records/Soul City Motown 1969 antique? It has a lot of mileage but acceptable condition for its age...

Yes, but for the time being those things were super-outstanding, even the Beatles were 4-track in many famous songs;8-tracking was very expensive and required professional equipment. It took 20 years since 1969 to release the first ever affordable... 4-track recorder (Portastudio) ))) And then computers changed that all.
Stille Nacht-Heilige Nacht. Mary alone at home with her baby. Happy x-mas to every music aficionado!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATERINA! Born January 14 in 1931
Westcoast sounds from Island Studios and Ramport Studios, London. Les Nicol, Steve Chapman, Charlie Harrison, Steve Krieger plus Mick Weaver and Nicky Hopkins. Forgotten one, but indeed: delicious and refreshing.
For your eyes only: a mysterious fold cover.
yes, I missed this post.
The book by the Beatles engineer did some referring to this.
initially recorded on 4 track , then they got the idea of using two 4 track machines
and using 1 track on each to synch both together. some of the Beatles early stuff is really poorly mixed if you listen on headphones.
