JBL 2217HPL reconable as LE14H-4?

I noticed quite a few JBL 2217HPL on eBay lately with very modest asking prices.

Some comments I've read on these forums, while not definitive statements, do suggest it may be possible to recone the 2217 as LE14H-4.

If anyone has any information on this point, I'd be grateful to learn more. . .

2217H Gap Info

( Gap depth is the same as the 2226H, which is deeper/taller than the le14H series of drivers meaning one needs custom-made recone kits for this hybrid combo to work properly )
