Ordered this just for fun. Been a while, curious more than anything and it was on sale. I’ve spent many years with the L-46, L20t, L20t3 and my fav, the L1. Never had the chance with an 18TI. If someone out there has taken this plunge, how did it size up?? Or did you send them back? It’s sort of a first move towards the justification of a set of 590 or not. They have them for $1k right now. I haven’t purchased a new off the showroom floor JBL since 1985.

I got a really nice deal on my 18ti's from a member here. Built just as well as full size JBL's and in VG condition... mostly bought for spare 044Ti's.Quote:

The JBL's sounded "thin" , too much treb & little bass. Inserted an EQ in the stack yesterday and they really responded well.
bottom line ? IF setup correctly, the 18Ti can sound pretty good.
I like the "Ti line" , have 250's , 120's and the 18's.
