There is a reason for the sharp membership spike. The new version of vbulletin has the option of only allowing members to see attachements. Shortly after moving to the new version, I thought I'd set this option. I don't want to prohibit lurkers, but by the same token, I would prefer if people accessing this forum were also available to contribute to the discussion. Having to register before you can see attached photos and data sheets has proven to be a significant incentive.
