JBL PRX818XLFW Sub-Woofer. No phone app??? How do I control it?

Hello.

I just bought the JBL PRX818XLFW sub-woofer.

Got it home, plugged it in, and realized that I had to get the "PRX Connect" app to control it.

Went to iTunes and tried to find it for iPhone. It doesn't exist.

It now appears to me that there is no way to control the speaker unless i own an iPad, or an Android Tablet, as the app does not work on any phone at all, whether iPhone or Android.

If there is no way to control this without a table of some kind, I will be returning this sub to the store tomorrow, as I am not going to buy a tablet just to be able to control it.

Is there some way to control the unit using iPhone or a PC?

If so, could you tell me how to get this going?

You can install an android emulator on your PC and it should be able to run the android app.

Sure you can use emulator like Bluestacks to operate android/iOS files through your computer.
