Old thread but...
The JBL 4628B 3 - Way used a 2118H as a Mid-driver. The 4628 was for Keyboards/Reinforcement.. http://www.jblpro.com/pub/obsolete/Cabaret_Series2.pdf
With the 15" E145, 2118H Mid and 2404 Baby Cheek HF it also doubled as a bohemoth Hi-Fi speaker for extra volume. Quite sweet!!! There IS also a Technical
Sheet which has the crossover design. Has provision for Bi-Wire!!
My two bits.

Lol. Spent some time responding before paying enough attention to realize this was an ancient thread... Even though DogBox noted it right off.
Ah well. 2118H certainly seems readily available... often inexpensively (and often after taking a beating).
there would be interested to know how the 2168h/j woofers work in this range?
have someone here try them?

Colleagues;
What about the 116h? It works very well in the 4408 is readily available and not too expensive. Are you going to use it in a Hi/Fi application or something else?
Have fun.

For your range and HIFI is it the 115H1,a little smaller (17cm) ,but the best for Home Hifi .

Thx, changed to AE-Speakers, model TD8-M - the driver is great !
I have been listening to 2250h in AM6200 cmcd horns, and J models with a tight backcan ring without the horn, and they are both wonderful, JBL use them 300 or 400 up to 2100 Hz. I think 2168 is similar, but have not heard them. 116 is vlf optimised, as is 115 (6")
I got 4 NOS 2110 waiting on my shelf....
They are great drivers but extremely hard to find and the last run of cone kits were on the light side so a higher FS which is fine as long as you plan on using them as a midrange as in 4315.Quote:
What are opinions on 2108?
