receiver recommendation

I have a pair of Sovereign C-60(S8R) speakers using Mac C-26 preamp and MC2505 amp.
I would like to use my speakers in A/V setup.Would add center channel and probably subwoofer. Rears later on.
Any recommendation for receiver to use with this setup.

I have a surround system with various 2 and 3 way stock and modified 15" Altecs and am driving it with a 100wpc Sony ES receiver.

I experimented using a McIntosh MC30 tube amp on every speaker and had a McIntosh C28 preamp on the fronts with the Sony as a preamp for the sub, center and rears. It sounded really good but it wasn't worth the clutter or the $$$ tied up in gear and the C28 had to be manually adjusted every time the volume changed.
