On my newly bought JBL 4628B there are two connecting points. One for input, one for output. I guess it means I can connect one wire in from the amp and to the input connection, and one wire from output to next speakers input. And that way I can get 4 speakers in one stereo system.
But will this make it a difficult load for the amplifier?
I have a Adyton XP3d amp, a norwegian made PA amplifier that give out 2x320w in 8 ohm.

All the output jack does is pass along the full-range signal from the input - it's directly wired in parallel. What this means is if you hook another 8 ohm speaker to the output jack of the 4628B you will end up with a total load of 4 ohms for that channel of the amp.

Thanks.
Do you think two 4628b on each side will be a problem for my amplifier?

Do you think two 4628b on each side will be a problem for my amplifier?I'm not familiar with that amp at all. At a minimum, it needs to be able to drive a 4 ohm load. If the specs don't specifically say that, you're really running a chance. Call the amp manufacturer if you really want to be sure.

The manufacturer clodsed down their business several years ago, but I wrote a man that I know worked with those amps some years ago. He is working in the music industry with something, and could tell that they had hooked up 3 speakers on each side with that amp with no problems at all, and assured me that that amp can take everything without problems.
So that was nice to hear!

Yes, I will put one on top of the other.
I guess it would be better in a way to spread them out in the room. But that would make it difficult with cables. And if you have ever been to a norwegian party, you will know that people are not too careful. In fact, after midnight, few people can walk properly. So it is safest to keep it all near one of the walls. The room is large and rectangular. About 4-5 meters high and large enough toseat a little over 100 people for dinner.

Anything goes for parties, of course, but I'd be stackin' upside-down on Sub1500's.... :p
