Tannoy value question: NFM 8 II, what is a nice pair worth?

Trying to determine a reasonable value/price for a pair of good working/looking Tannoy "Near Feild Monitor" model 8 series two, NFM-8 II. An 8 inch Dual Concentric system, styled after the big 15 inch unit. gray enclosure, shiny plastic panels on top, black grille. Any ideas? Thanks, R.E.

They were only $800 new and current retail is under $200. I had a nice pair of Ardens once. I kept them a whole week. I really liked them but they're not my JBL's!

Are you looking to buy or sell?

This should not change the fair market value, should it? How about a range of prices, a low of XXX, to a high of XXX?

Ah yes, if we could figure out how to regulate prices that way we'd run the market.
I asked the way I did because if you were selling I would have considered a purchase. I did some research and found the previously posted info. :bouncy:

$200 retail, is that new... So about $100 used?

Update: I found a "near" similar Tannoy 8" model, (the current "version"?) but it has a "super-tweeter" added...(won't that negate the "point-source" advantage of the DC design?) that's all I can find now. Selling for about $950.00/pair or so.

$800 new, $200 retail used, $100 wholesale or mint trade in, $50 average trade in. Being Tannoy DC's, they're probabbly more desireable than most. They'll probably bring a little more than average just because of the name.
