Some thing doesnt look right on one of the 12" midbass openings the right one is different. Those are not t350 tweets too small.

At least thats what all the T-35's I have seen look like.
I have seen the variety from Klipsch/EV/Heathkit/Speaklab and I believe those are not T-350s also!

I have a friend, who also happens to live in Quebec has or had a pair. The 30" woofers were downright scary with what they could do!
But, the bass speed (for want of a better term) definitely isn't there and the rest of the system sounds like typical EV stuff..... not my cup of tea. Especially the diffraction midrange horn:p

In the posting that shows a photo of one of the baffles, you can clearly see that the opening for the T350 has been reduced with an adaptor plate for the T35. Also those 12" midbass drivers do not look right. I believe they should be the SP12, which would have a red-brown accordian surround and a whizzer cone. The motor housing shown in the one photo is probably the woofer.
It almost looks as if the speakers have been mined for some of the components and refitted with lesser varieties.
Buyer beware!

And maybe there are some parts which are not correct, but...
THESE ARE IN FACT, THE BEST SPEAKERS I HAVE NEVER HEARD...
If he has never heard them, how would he know?

A friend of mine reconed one of those 30" monsters once. Great picture of him hoisting that cone into place. Toughest job he ever did. The speaker ended up in a Van mobile system, some sick bastard built a huge box in a conversion van for it.

Yeah, the voice coil is only 1.5 or two inches; can't remember which. The cone is stryofoam.

V.C. was 2 1/2" power input 60WRMS and 150 peak. Duty factor went way down after 60 watts, power compression. 104db/1w. Had 4 of them

Yeah, I think it's the big Hartley woofers that have a 1.5" voice coil.
