A dumb question from someone who has been away from the audio business for many years:

How do you find a JBL Pro reseller/dealer -- assuming you are just a regular consumer who would like to buy something like the 4400 series monitors for home use? Or do studios and other "pros" deal direct with JBL?

I've listened -- or least attempted to listen -- to some of the Northridge models at my local big box retailers and to be honest, I'm kind of turned off. :( They don't even sound as good as the L16, L19 and L26 models I remember so fondly from the '70s. I'm thinking that something like the 4408A might be more like what I have in mind. True?

I've prowled all over the JBL Pro web site and the closes thing I can come up with is a directory of U.S. Sales Reps. Or maybe I just answered my own question (i.e. contact the nearest rep). :D Thanks.
