Is that just your camera, or do the grilles really have a brownish tint, (at least on my monitor)? Didn't I see you asking Zilch about blue grille cloth? Nice score, though!

Flash makes them look lighter, but yes they're brown (now). Owner replaced the original cloth with something near black and it faded (checked inside & edges). I'm thinking blue would look better, the cloth could be tighter, and it wouldn't have candle wax pre-dripped on it for that lovingly-used look. -grumpy
