HI IM a gnu member. I have one very very nice condition Altec 412 C speaker. How would this work for a match with an EV t35 tweeter? Ive been looking for another 412, but the going rate on E-Bay for a similar 412 is about 125.00.Theres some pretty stiif bidding competition and it seems like you almost gotta have a service that will bid at the last second(forgot the name of that practice).Well, one l;ast question...How would that 412 work as a PA speaker? What is the wattage its capable for handling for a bass guitar? I am more interested in an hi-fi application, but just wondering.Thanks and glad to be onthis great forum.

I found someb literature on the 412-c . You might want to read it. There is no mention of wattage. But eventually I can dig it up some were.

Hi,

I think I found the specs for the T35 and T350, Verry low wattage 5 watts.

Anny way I din't have time to resd it all.

X0 3500 Hz.

If you can find two Altec Cell 800 With drivers you would be better off Xo at 800 Hz.

As for reconing the Biflex GPA will convert them into 416 speakers if I'm not mistaking. That's why I recommend the Multicell. And to check with GPA just to make sure.

Sorry, I meant convert them into 414 , They are 12 " woofers.

I found information on Biflex 412-A. You may want to look it up.

It's rated at 20 watts. Bottom of this web page.
