Hello Experts!

I do have a problem with my new Bass Box Pro programm.
It seems to have an import function for response curves but where to get them?
You can type your own curve in but this is hell of alot work cause you have to type every 2Hz.

Any advice highly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Guido,

You export the data from a circuit analysis program and store it in a format BB6P can use.

Here's the file for the original BX-63 as an example. You should be able to open it with notepad or a text editor of your choice.

Here's an example of an Excel spreadsheet which will look in an exported circuit analysis file and pull the necessary data.

Thanks Giskard!

I can't import your attached file:confused:

What is wrong?

You showed that excel file. How can I get this excel file in a format bass box can import?

My fault Guido.

You are trying to import acoustic data via the "Import Acoustic Data" button on the "response" tab of the "Driver Properties" dialog box? That function looks for B&K text files, MLSSA, JBL Smaart files, etc.

The BX-63 file I created is imported using the "Open Acoustic File" button on the "Room Acoustic Properties" dialog box. It looks for *.iad files which you can create via a circuit analysis package. I just did it that way because it was quick and easy.

This is an example of the summed response of a B460/BX-63:

"You showed that excel file. How can I get this excel file in a format bass box can import?"

Save it off as a text file and then change the extension to .iad instead of .txt

Make sure you put in the proper header information which is highlighted below

Hi Giskard

Great info. I didn't know that program could do overlays like that. One day soon, I'll have to join the PC world.
That's exactly the type of info that makes me look on in envy .
