Hi everyone, I'm new here so bear with me. I purchased 4 L100s in the mid 70s that I still use today. Right now, I have a few bad Lpads that I would like to replace.
My question is; Is there a better crossover design for them? The original schematic shows no inductor coil on the woofer and iron core inductors on the mid and tweeter.

While I'm looking to rebuild is there a better design that I should consider?

Thanks much!

Here's a simple improvement.

I wouldn't go much beyond adding the bypass caps if you want to keep them voiced as they are. If you add inductors as an example you won't have L100's when your done.

Giskard once mentioned that L-50 crossovers might make a good substitute. I've never tried it though.

I would not stop with bypassing the caps, I would replace them as they are so old. Should not cost much to get decent polyproplyene caps
