Let me be the first, John, to say Happy Birthday! Make it a great one as you sprint to the front of the mid-fifties cluster.

I see you already have your present.

Ok, we need a system.. are we going to do birthdays in the :

1. Off Topics area OR
2. Forum Issues

I always look in the Off Topic and somehow miss those in the Forum Issues.

WE Need a System.....

Yes, that's a conundrum, eh? I've seen it both places. I prefer "Forum Issues" because:

A) It deals with a forum member.
B) The birthday info comes from the forum itself.
C) It's a regular and worthy forum activity.
D) The forum brings us together in a community where we can celebrate and salute people we've never met.
E) "Off Topic" often has weird or somewhat controversial topics, and birthdays are (generally) happy and positive.
F) I wouldn't want my birthday to be "off topic"; I want it to be the topic. :D

Dome that's really pushing it.........

personally I don't care where it goes BUT, I just don't get it when birthdays are in the Forum Issues ( and I know my friends put them there, but I forget to look)

well maybe we need a vote???

Welcome to the "Double Nickel" club, Johnaec! I've been a member since last October. So far so Good. Member benefits include: Increased CRS factor (Can't Remember Shit). Additional "Contemplation" time required for "Yesterday's" automatic tasks. Increaesed DGaF factor (Don't Give a Fig). Enhanced Memory function i.e. Your random access memory will become more "Computer-Like"-New will overwrite old. New "Gained Respect" when a 35 year old "Girl" calls you "Sir" at a store or restaurant. Enjoy :D

Yep, in April. I share my birthday with Adolph Hitler, Lionel Hampton, and George Takei. Luther Vandross was born on the exact day in 1951.
