The frame itself is the same, I'm not sure about the magnet assembly. I think the magnet itself is the same size, but not sure if it has the same top plate/gap depth. No mention about that in my service lit...it's not in the interchangeability chart.

I've trial-fitted them, and a 128H kit will fit into a 2213H frame, and vice-versa. However, I think that the 2213H has a slightly lower magnetic flux, which would lower the efficiency and raise the Q just a bit...

I'd love to...but I think I've only got some 122A structures laying around. We should collectively try to come up with an interchangeability chart for the 3" coil woofers.

It's been mentioned quite a few times and then we seem to lose interest.

There are exactly two guys left at JBL who know the various gaps, top plates, magnet thicknesses, etc. and they're only quoting from memory. The records are gone. They've been right a whole bunch of times and wrong twice.

I can bid on two 2213 baskets on sunday. I would be only interested if I can make 128H's with them.
