What are the most exspensive speakers in or out of production? Im thinking CAT mbx goldrush series myself $980.000.00 each :applaud:

Call it 2 million. That much money in a decent hedge fund producing 8-9 percent a year would yield about $170,000 per annum. For that you could live in concert halls.

I don't believe anybody ever bought a pair.

It's bullshit. Agreed it is an awful lot of money. As far as anyone ever buying a pair, i dont know. they were listed in home theater buying guide for 2004. I doubt they were made to be used at home.They utilize 1-1.1" tweeter 4-5.25" and 4- 8" mids 4-16"and 4-21" woofers per side. They weigh in at 4000lbs each:eek: defintely ground floor units haha. On a positive note though once you get these monstrositys in place, wifey or gf wont be moving these cause they look better facing some other direction:applaud:
