I just hooked my L300's up after a long layoff and noticed one of the 077's wasn't working. I removed it and it reads 6.8 Ohms (whew!)

I noticed that on the cone of the 136H is written in pencil...2231H. There is also a white stamped number.

These must be factory marks as I am the original owner and have never reconed it.

Anyone have a guess here?

No guess required... the 136H and the 2231H are the same speaker with a different label. 136H is the consumer version of the 2231H. They were assembled in the same factory, with the same parts. The current factory recone kit for both is the 2235H (C8R2235).
