L212 - question about photo and dimensions

Hi, while looking at different articles on LH, I came across this photo of the L212 system in the L250 article. Is it my eyes or do the two satellites look different in depth and width? Was the photo poorly reproduced or doctored or was it an aberration of the lens used? Any ideas?

The brochure photos of the L212 satellites look like the narrower thinner types and I believe that is the final configuration.
