They are the same except for the switch in the LX80A which selects two different tap points on the tapped autotransformer, -2 dB when used with the 130A/130H/2220A/2220H and -6 dB when used with the 124A/124H/2203A/2203H/LE14A/LE14H/136A/136H/2231A/2231H. One should note the similarity to the 3131, N333, LX300, and 3133 schematics.

Oh One more thing?

Is the same tapped autotransformer used in the LX80 but just wired to the one tap?

If you add a switch to it, would it become a LX80A ?:bouncy:

Yeah, use whatever taps you want off the autotransformer. Be aware that JBL sometimes snipped off the taps that weren't being used in specific applications though.

Do you have some LX80's? If so post pictures for the forum. It seems alot of people haven't run across these various LCS components.

Opened up due to a broken sodder lug, no strain relief on the umbilical cord:biting:

Did the LX80A run the cord out the side verse the top like the LX80
