Yes I do. This system has grown over the years. I was a dj for 20 years and, I have done nightclub design sound for 17 years. I have just always loved the artistic side of building sound systems. People think I am nuts. LOL They may be right but, I can't help to love what I do. Happy Holidays Everyone.

You really should get rid of those old DBX 165 units.:bs: :bs: :bs:

I could swap you a coupla Beringer units and give the DBXs a new home. The Beringers would give you a totally different sound!

Come on wadduya say??? Please,Please,Please.:D

You really should get rid of those old DBX 165 units. Yea, that's FAR too much weight on that Protea - you really should lose the dbx165's and put the far lighter, less weighty Behringers in there. I'll give you "Oldmics" shipping address... ;)

And, is this a mono system, or how do you feed the other side? Must have a sizeable cable run under the carpet!

And, is this a mono system, or how do you feed the other side? Must have a sizeable cable run under the carpet! :blink:Good grief Bo! I too noticed the lack of cables on the far left and far right but figured they were running under a carpet. Woulnd't have occurred to me to actually ask the guy for specifics though. :p Sometimes I think you care too much. :rotfl:

Well, we do know a few eccentric forum members who do prefer mono now don't we..... :p

Is that a stock JBL cabinet, (even without the slant lense)? I've never seen anything like it before, (two 2405's??), or did you just get some JBL decals for the side of some custom jobs?

hehehehe. The System is in stereo hence the 2 165s. I like How the 165s warm up the digital sound. The Protea 4.24C imo is one of the Best digital Crossovers out on the market with BSS and XTA. I am not using the protea eq at the moment because, I actually like the parametric in the DSP. The system is a Stereo 3-way. The horn In the Box is obviously disconnected right now, as I am Using the lens instead. The speakers cabinets are in fact a JBL Cinema cab. The top part of the box was custom made, so we could use them in a club. We had 8 of these. The tweeters in the cabintes used to be bullets but, when I put these in my house I thought the slot would sound alot sweeter as it can go higher in frequency. I wish JBL actually made the box like this. I think alot of people would have been interested. Luckily I was able to make the wiring work. You can't see any cables in the living room at all. I am lucky I have nice neighbors.:)

Happy Holidays!!!

I am using 2482 driver on the lens I like the sound of the phenolic diaphragm. And if I use the 2380A in the box it's a 2441 driver. The 15s are 2226H. The cabinets are 4508A
