XPL90A because it is the best of the bunch.

And you also forgot the 18Ti in that list...

The 18Ti running the 4406 network is a decent second place.

With regards to the original speakers listed, the 4406 and L20T have the same drivers, (115H-1 and 035Ti), but the 4406 also includes a level control for HF. The 4401 is older technology, with an alnico magnet LF and 034 HF, which is definitely a step down from the 035Ti.

Based on the above, my preference would be the 4406, but the L20T's can often be picked up for a fraction of the cost of the 4406, if you can live without the HF level control.

The 115's I have are ferrite SFG magnets. The 4301 is Alnico.

The 115's I have are ferrite SFG magnets.You're right - I forgot about that. They're still the older style, with white cones and foam surrounds.
