Hello all,

I've been "away" for a few months, I took a bit of a break and then started a new job, had a death in the family and now the holidays...but I thought I'd try to drop in a bit and see what's been happening-it looks like most everyone is still here and a few new "faces"...also I see that some others that were away for a time have returned-it's nice to see that. (I did occasionally visit the site but I haven't posted since August). Glad to see Giskard has returned and Steve Gonzales I'm glad to see you are back, my L220 pal! From what I see you are still very much at it with your restorations and doing superb at it as usual! Good to see RobH, Ian, Widget and all the rest are still here...hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season and staying safe.

I'm still here, still love the music and still love JBL!!!

Best regards and happy holidays to all,

Peter :D

Hi all,
Thanks for the welcome back and it is nice to
be "back". I do plan to do a bit of posting soon. I think
tomorrow evening (it is getting late here) I may post a photo
of some non-standard binding posts that came with my B460.
I was reading a thread last night (can't remember who started it)
by a fellow who has a B460 with some "upgraded" binding posts on his
B460 that aren't the typical JBL turn-lock variety. He mentioned they are
gold plated and accept pretty large gauge wire. Mine are gold plated too
and are pretty fancy. I'm wondering if they were an "upgrade" by JBL or
user-installed. There do appear to be what could be some plugged holes
next to them that could be from the old posts, but I'm not sure. At any rate
I'll try to take a photo of them tomorrow and post it.

Good to see everyone!

Peter

P.S. I was directed to a listing last night on eBay for a B460
in very fine condition that sold for $2,275, I believe. Nice!

Peter...I wondered what happened to you...you were one of the most active
posters and then suddenly dropped off the map.

Welcome back!

pretty distracted. But I'm back and it's really nice to be back!

Thanks!

Hi Peter,

Yeah man, I too, had a bomb drop on me . It's hard to say when I will be able to post on a regular basis, but I enjoy the site when I can. I do hope everyone had a great holiday. I guess you've seen how I fixed the crossover problem ?. It also took about three inches off the spacer depth too. Warm Regards, Steve G.

Hey Steve!
I've been trying to get on here again and only able to every so often like you say. I watched for a while after I returned and saw you had returned but didn't see any new posts by you. Tonight I took a look and presto! Steve is posting with a cool new Avatar....:applaud:

To answer your question I didn't see how you solved the crossover question and took 3 inches off the spacer depth. I assume you mean the horn mod depth problem with the back of the horn too deep with the crossover plate. I'd be interested to see what you've come up with. Please post a pic or direct me to the post where you explain and/or show it.

Great to "see" you!!

Peter
