Nice early December snow blast, some really beautiful and bountiful snow coming down, 8:15 p.m., wind blowing good, head for the hot tub with wife and kids, glass of wine in hand(s), turn on the 1000 watt light and aim skyward to illuminate the incoming flakes, hair encrusted with snow, water steaming, and the lowly Control 1 AW's and Control subs deliver a Jazzy Christmas CD................
thank you Lord!

p.s. never seen snow on the grills or drivers! slight overhanging soffit helps, as does cranking it a bit. Do these things have a force field?:D

and the lowly Control 1 AW's ....

I don't think the Control1s are THAT bad, although maybe the Edirol Studio Monitors are better:applaud:

:D By now everybody wants to throw Mr/Ms Edirol and the edirols IN the hot tub, and instead of the 1Kw light a hair dryer.

snowblower......Snowblower!? I had to use a shovel. It was like emptying a dumptruck full of dirt with a tablespoon. :p

I shoveled since buying our first house in 91. Last year my wife bought me a Honda snowblower; it rocks. Rubber edges clean right down to the pavement. Also lets me do the 3-4 neighbors around here that need it.

Wine contains sulfites, which is sulfer. Thus the suffering. Beer is much better; no sulfites, great taste (goes well with chocolate) and a wide variety. My favorites; Bass Pale Ale, Guinness Stout, Sierra Nevada Stout, Stone IPA, Firestone Double Barrel ale among others.

Lion Stout from Sri Lanka is a new favorite of mine. Most complex brew I've ever had. 8% alcohol!

I had a new beer experience tonight: Barleywine. It's a beer that has been brewed (or something) until the alcohol content exceeds what can legally be called beer; so it's called wine. Interesting, smoky, complex taste.
