Any of the LE25 series, I believe. Been discussed, a search should take care of it. Search LE25.

ok. i got LE25-4 tweeters and a re-foamkit from rick. and i have sanded and oiled the cabinets. look great but sound harsh compared to my 4301b something wrong in the upper frequensies. so i pulled em apart and checked the filters,

filters seem to bee in terrible condition. the L-pad pots are rusty internally. so i will build new crossovers for them. first off wheres the shematics located? is there any modifications/updates that i should apply?

and last. pre owner had cut the tweeter cables so i didnt know how to hook it up. so i pulled the tweeter on 4301b and looked. hooked the l26 tweeter the same way. is this right?

oh! btw, when i bougt the tweeters i also got 2 le26. i have tried them in the l26 just to see if its the tweeters that is the cause. and i dunno but it was lower output with the le26...whts wrong? its pretty much the same tweeters right?

all 4 tweeters meashure 4,1 ohms

I don't have the coil winding length/depth on any of those tweeters. I never cared enough to write down the data. I doubt any of them vary by more than a couple of dB.

well it was pretty much difrence. and on top of that it was difrence between the 2 le-26. they meashure the same with ohm meter. but thats not all. i also swept:em with tone generator and no strange sounds. so to my knowlege they work but in practice they dont.....the le 25-4:s howerer does

it eather works or dont? right? no distortion no nothing, just lower output (even betwen the le26.

so guys! been eating alot of food and drinking lots of beer! and here i am asking stupid questions about 30yr old speakers, on cristmas eve

Try to get some Caig DeOxit or Cramolin spray and shoot it into the x-over pots, working the knobs vigorously as you do so. Go lightly on the spray; the less you use, the better it works, they say. This stuff works wonders!

Yep. Heat with a hair dryer to aid removal with a putty knife.
