Can anyone tell us how the new Differential Drive woofers actually work in the field? Do they hold up under heavy Pro use? Do they sound better then the classic JBL designs?
I think the VerTec series uses differential drive speakers, but I'm not sure. These seem to hold up, but then they are running MANY of them at once.
They are used in the new SRX 700 series.

Any response from experience with these would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Tom

Hey, Tom...
1. Fantastic. They are very "tight" responsive drivers. Handle high SPL's with no hesitation or affect, while maintaining a VERY linear response.
2.
3. Not sure what you mean. Than my 4345's? Yes, and no. Two different applications.
4. So...?
