Last night we had settled in and were spinning some Beatles just kicked back, my wife goes over to give the volume a little nudge to the positive and for some reason just out of the blue she look's at me and tell's me that I have had my JBL's longer than we have been married which will be 25 years next month.

I proceeded to tell her they are my oldest material possession, well next thing I know she has broken out the old english and proceed's to oil them up.:applaud:
Now I am talking about the speaker's being oiled, well at least first. I love my wife and speaker's and hope that we will all be together for another 25 year's.

Greetings to you both for 25 yearshttp://audioheritage.org/vbulletin/images/smilies/applaud.gif , and good luck with the next 25. In Norway we call it a "Silver wedding" after 25 years and a "Gold wedding" after 50. None of my equipment has followed me that long.

Cheers!!!

You're a lucky man, a good woman is almost as hard to find as a nice set of speakers.

One who has both is truly blessed.

Wonderful story there, Sir Rockecat. It's not easy finding a good woman, that's for sure. Especially one that enjoys just listening to music and spending quality time (with quality speakers and music, of course!).

My L100s preceded my marriage, which lasted 28 years, and are still with me six years into my current relationship. If I ever get married again, they'll go into a pre-nup.

You have a special case however, and are to be congratulated whether you got your wood rubbed or not. Cherish what you have, you lucky man.
