I would want to replace the terminals of my JBLs 4350.
I ask to the experts:
1) The inside cable of wiring in the original terminals is crimped or screwed?
2) Am I them screwed on the back panel?
3) Which is the width of the original (mm) hole?
4) Which terminals done recommend me? (I thought about the WBT...).
5) Do they improve the performances of the diffuser?
6) Do you recommend me to replace the inside cables? and with which?
7) Of what thickness is it the panel that brings the terminals? Is it of Aluminum or of wood?
Thanks of heart for your answers!:banghead:

You are probably asking the wrongs guys here Paky33. I will give you some "Suggestions" if you like:

For question :
1. The terminals are not "crimped" on if that is what you meant.

2. The Push terminals are held place by a small Philips head screw on the back. This is the same if the terminal is on an actual driver or the crossover inputs.

3. I don't know, we use these if we have really heavy wire.

4. Ya sure, they are totally gorgeous but total over-kill as well. Buy them if want them. They are probably the best out there.

5. If you mean by the Diffuser as the Horn Lens, It might make a very small change

6. Nothing fancy, just a good quality wire that is at least 18ga thick. I use a 14ga Silver/Teflon wire that seems to sound nice. EVERYBODY has an opinion on the ins and outs of speaker wiring.

I hope this helps

For now I have replaced well the teminals with the WBTs 0763.
I have used the solder of WBT, it melts to 180°C (all the other melt to 230 - 250°C).
The improvement is exceptional! :applaud:
The woofers play cleaner and pecise; the meedrange and the tweeter offer a more precise and great scene.
I recommend the change to everybody, the resulted are grandiose.:p

The next thing that I will do is the substitution of the inside cables.
I suppose that I will use some Van Den Hul.
I will just have made this change I will write my impressions. ;)
