9444B bridgeable into 4ohm?

here's a curly one: I want to use an Altec 9444B to power 2 Jbl 2225s that are in one box. does anyone know if the 9444B is stable into 4 ohms when in bridged mode?

any help much appreciated.

wire the drivers in series for 16 ohm

yeah, I suspect you're right about it not being stable at 4 ohm.
