Cross reference for re-coning (the barbarian?)

Hey folks, is there a document for cross-referencing which JBL speakers can be re-coned under another model?

I've been keeping my eye out for a couple of 2235H's to complete a project I have in mind but they don't seem to be appearing on Epay as often as I thought they might (at least without having to be reconed anyway). I do, however, have a pair of E140-8's that were purchased for a bass guitar cabinet design (I built one for my bass player and he is a very happy camper - JBL 140-8 and twin Hartke 10's in separate cabinets, a very sweet rig). Can the E140-8's be reconed as 2235H's? If so, where would you suggest sending them for such a re-cone? One of them is blown anyway so re-using them might be a less expensive option that a pair of 2235H's.

Thoughts? Opinions? Humorous anecdotes? Emotional outbursts?

Not if you want a 2235. If you don't mind a hybrid the kit will fit the frame look here.

2225H baskets will recone to perfect 2235H's, however.

They are somewhat more plentiful.... ;)
