first impression using JBL 2350/2446J in place of K400/K55V: smoother, but needs
level adjustment and top-end rolloff... promising. Warble tone/RSmeter response
still showed suckout ~380Hz (which I assumed was floor reflection/cancellation) to
be much less (better vertical directivity?) and a less ragged midrange. Think I'll stop
until I build a new top... 65+lbs of JBL goodies on top of that nice walnut is asking for
trouble. Will take some pics before I disassemble.
