Some stuff y'all should pay more attention to - this space is rife with hype and uninformed non-objectivity. Save yourself some aural headaches, and safety risks, and read this.

From a very worthy dialogue on ProSound Web:

Follow this link to Bill Whitlock's (Pres., Jensen Transformers) excellent guide on how to build noise-free interfaces and not kill yourself at the same time.

I saw this a few days ago over on AVS Forums. It's making its rounds through the audio/video community.

There's a lot of good info here, though it's also a bit of a sales pitch for Jensen products, which generally work as advertised.

Ironically, I heard about this unfortunate accident while I was listening to KNX this morning.

"(AP) WACO, Texas A pastor performing a baptism was electrocuted inside his church after grabbing a microphone while partially submerged, a church employee said. "
