JBL Pro III Titanium tweeter, WTB

Hi,



I have a set of the small Pro III speakers, similar to the Control 1 speakers. Since I saw a matching sub for them on eBay I had to buy it. While testing everything out together I noticed that 1 tweeter has quit. After taking the unit apart I have found the tweeter resistance open and have mashed the dome too much to do anything with anyway. I would like to purchase another tweeter if it makes sense dollar wise. 1st choice is used and then new. I would appreciate any helpful suggestions

Can you post a picture of the tweeter? I think there is one I can get, from a place I work with. IIRC, the tweeter in these bolts in from behind a plastic plate, and the tweeter itself is a very small assembly?

Thanks for the response. I'll get you a picture soon but it is not a small piece (to me). The tweeter is in a cup of some kind about 2.5 in diameter. the back reads PRO-3 underneath that it reads J11TN. I have not taken it out of the cup. It does mount from the back with the 4 screws, the grill is built into the front of the speaker.
