Metregon? Minigon? A search here will turn up lots of info on those.

thanks for the replies, this speaker lineage is still mysterious- dancing dave's posting was indeed a asian paragon mini design. i called the speaker that i am interested in finding more info on a "mini paragon" for lack of a better description- this speaker appears to be a scale model of the paragon. it looks identical (cabinet. legs. horns, tweeters, and drivers) but a smaller version of everything.the cabinet dimensions are: 40.5"long, 10.5 wide at widest point, and 14" tall counting height of the legs. i don't have digital camera but will try to get one at some point and post a pix. thanks, jim

You must be talking about the Minigon. Not quite miniture, but certainly smaller than the Paragon:

Minigon (http://www.lansingheritage.org/images/jbl/catalogs/1962/page20-21.jpg)

It's 2 cabinets that fit together in a Paragon style shape. These come around once in a while. Do a forums search for "minigon" and I think you may find more relevant information.
