guitar application

I have a D-123. I want to use this speaker as a replacement speaker in a fender amp with a stock 12" speaker. Does any one have any experience with this applicatiion?

D123's fine for acoustic guitar amp, especially in pairs, or for a practice amp. Use D/K/E120 for serious electric. D123 can't take it....

I agree with Zilch...D123 is too loose....it was meant for hifi. Sorry...I feel like we're beating you up with the speakers you have, but shouldn't use:( .

really all of the input is welcome. an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! I have been collecting speaker of all kinds for years and i am just now finding out what their proper application is. all information is welcome.
