I have been through a ton of stuff that I could sneek in without getting the "look". I was using old AIWA powered speakers for a while. Then went to a JBL Media set-up with Media 100 and the matchin "subwoofer". That sounded pretty good. Then I tried a Sony mini AV set up that wasn't bad but lacking. I use my computer as a source but the sound card sucks!!! So now I got an older Sony ES carosel with L20T3 and my newly aquired Urei 6211 amps to try. Don't know if it will make in the door but what the hell I got to try. I spend a lot of time working in my office at the computer and it would be nice to have something decent for a change. What do you guys use??? I am sure there are some real nice set-ups out there. Would love to see them.

I was using JBL Creature II speakers connected to my PowerBook using iTunes, or a pair of L7s with an old Technics receiver, then I bumbled into those 4430s and that B380 that I didn't have the guts to take home.

So my office set up is a pair of 4430s, a B380, two Soundcraftsmen A200 MOSFET amps (one bridged for the B380), a Carver CT-3 preamp, a Technics SLPG300 CD player, the BX36A crossover, and my 60 GB iPod.

Thankfully, my assistant digs it. It's all day dance music!
