When I run WinISD for the 2231A, 2231H, 2235H, and 136A for the stock L200 cabinet, all traces are the same within 0.1 dBA across the board. Can one speaker be used inplace of another and will they "sound" the same?

Mountain lion, Puma, Panther and Cougar are different names for the geneticly same animal but found in different locations.

136A, 2231 and 2235 are also. Slight differences in magnetic composition and strength but all currently use the same cone ( C8R2235 ) so they should all sound / perform the same.

Of course the alnico camp will swear by the "sweetness and articulation" differences but if you can hear a tonal difference in a 30hz note, carnigie hall wants you..

well, I don't know about the 136A, but the thiele small parameters from the 2231 and 2235 are not the same

of course the 2235 is the replacement for the 2231 and when you want your 2231 reconed, you will get a 2235 cone, which makes it exactly the same as a factory 2235 as the magnets and basket are identical

the thiele small parameters of the original drivers differ slightly, but if a 2231 was once reconed to a 2235 cone then the thiele small parameters from the 2235 should be applied in calculations
