Anybody help me with rebuilding a 1209 network? I have two that are FRIED. My problem is I can not identify one of the resistors. Anybody have the schematic or know what the resistor values are in that network?

Hi

- I don't have a schematic for the 1209 but here's a pic indicating the resistor & capacitor values . ( I'm not sure if C4 is stock / but it is present in both 1209a networks that I have ).

- I don't know the actual inductor or Lpad values .

- Take a look at the schematics for the original Model 19 network ( 1201-8a ) that is posted over at Jeff Markwarts' Website . (http://home.earthlink.net/~jmarkwart/) It gives a good idea of how 3/4 of the 1209s' components are actually wired up . One difference is the 1209 has a zobel on the woofer network while the 1201 doesn't. Another difference is the hipass section in a 1209 is 12 db per octave while the N1201a that Jeff shows would eventually equate to a 18 db per octave slope .

Earl,

That is exactly what I was looking for. My pair have the 2 ohm resistors burnt beond recognition.

I will be ordering some new parts now...

Thanks!
