The ideal would be another 4310.

I agree but where is he going to find a single???? It may be easier to just by parts off Ebay or go with a 4311. Have you ever used a system with the Le-20 tweeter??? If it was a 4311 or 4312A I could say something but I have never used a system with that tweeter. Is it very different from the Le-25???

Just buy two more and use them both for center :D see, problem solved...

Or buy two more pair of 4310's and do a 6.1 system.

Front-Left
Center
Front Right
Surround-Left
Surround-Right
Rear-Center

See, again problem solved. Here on LH Forum, you have questions, we have answers.

Or, to make the job even simpler, use the existing 4310s as center front and center rear, and 4311s/L100s as LF, RF, LR and RR. Only need all alnico for the center near the TV...

In any case, dang... I had a single early L100, that I parted out since I never could find anything resembling a mate for it. Parts went to good use... the cabinet was modified to become a "center channel from hell" in a huge system (2022H 12" woofer, 2410 on a Sammi Sound flare for mid, 2404H tweeter, all mounted in the L100 cabinet), the midrange and woofer were used in my "Improved L100" (larger cabinet, otherwise stock L100) project... only the crossover and LE20 remain for further use at some point. I may wind up using the LE20 with a shielded 6.5" paper-cone woofer, as a center channel for a client at work... it'd be a great "finishing touch" for his system...

Regards,
Gordon.

The ideal would be another 4310

There was a single 4310 on ebay a few weeks back, No mula at the time. 4.1 will do.

As I mentioned above, a single early model L100 would also work. Virtually identical, in any way that counts. That might open up the "availability pool" a bit...

Other than that, a single L77 should also work pretty well. All alnico, no magnetic interference issues...

Gordon.
