Get a decent amp/receiver that will tolerate 4 ohms, and you'll have no worries:)

Problems is that it is a good amplifier.

Yamaha MX-2 200watt RMS 4 ohm ?

No. 4412 is not a difficult speaker to amplify. It'll play fine on just about anything....

The 4412 doesn't give an amp a hard time....unless there's a short somewhere in the system eg. woofer lead wires touching or a burnt inductor in the crossover. The only problem that you'll ever encounter is cranking the Yamaha beyond half volume and letting it get hot to the point it goes into protect mode. The 4412's are 94 dB 1W 1m sensitivity, so they should give you plenty of output.

I am really glad that you guy`s will help me and I am VERY thankfull :)

Can I examine the crossover to look for burnt inductor ? What shall I look for?
Black stuff or what? Forgive me I am an old guy trying to understand.

Don't open them up until you try them on a different amplifier first. It's highly unlikely there's anything wrong inside unless they were seriously abused by the previous owner....
