I was just checking around... trying to find out if JBL ever used an alnico-magnet 6.5" woofer. Would be GREAT for center-channel speakers...
Anyone ever seen such a beast?
Regards,
Gordon.

I think the smallest was the D208/2110.

The only other readilly available alnico 8 I can think of would be the 116's in the L-19/4301 which were very nice sounding. Those 6.5s are real nice I have both the white version and the poly. They certainly would make a nice center speaker!

What about the venerable LE-8T? I recognize it is more of a full range driver than a true woofer, but I think it would have potential as a center channel speaker.

The 6" in the PC600 works great.
Anyone who can post the picture of Alnico magnet 6.5" speaker?
