Well, it's nice to see someone else turn 54, just a couple of months after me.

Have a great day and enjoy one of the best presents you ever got--even though it came early--the JBL Performance Series.

The fifties is the BEST decade! We've got six more years to enjoy it! :band: Party on!

Thanks guys, it was a good day all around. :applaud: did things differently this year - just a small group of friends at dinner rather than the big party. It was fun and relaxing.......

Dome, yes, it's good to be fifty-four, wouldn't mind being in my thirties again with the knowledge I have now tho. :)

Audiobeer - looking forward to see you too. PM me when you get a chance. ;)

johnaec - thanks guy :D

I'm guessing a lot of us got into JBL in the Mid-seventies when we were in our early twenties. Yes? No? Maybe?

Seems like a lot of people did here from what I've gleemed from the posts. I was lucky that my father started with JBL around 1955 ( my parents were separated then, I know my Mom wouldn't have let my dad have them had they been together - ha ) and then they got back in 59 ( I was 8) and that's when I saw them. So I started early with my fathers stuff and then in the late 60's started getting my own stuff ( used).
